
Heather Ousley, soprano, is an emerging artist hailing from Atlanta, GA where she is in the studio of Elizabeth Nohe Colson. Roles have included the title roles of Madama Butterfly, Suor Angelica and Tosca, as well as Donna Anna, Georgette (Il Tabarro), Ariadne, and Ann Putnam (The Crucible). Ms. Ousley has also been a featured concert soloist in works by Handel, Bach, Mozart and Mendelssohn’s. As a Conservatory Concerto Competition winner, Ms. Ousley was invited to perform Alban Berg’s Sieben Frűhe Lieder under the baton of Alasdair Neale.
Ms. Ousley is a grant recipient of the Anna Sosenko Assist Trust, the Leni Fé Bland Foundation and the East Bay Opera League. She has been named a NATS winner in the Southeastern Regional Division as well as Outstanding Young Artist by the GMTA. She received her Master of Music from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music where she also completed a year of post-graduate studies in voice.
